ABOUT THE Pop-Up PLAYSHOPS

 

Why WORK when you can P.L.A.Y. = Practice.Learning.About.Yourself?

 

Dianna David and her Faculty of Freshness teach creative expression for levels K-12, delivering such PlayShops including movement storytelling, street dance, prop-manipulation, creative leadership and voice empowerment.

 

Students learn invigorating ways to stretch their body coordination, stimulate their imagination and encourage deeper self-awareness through body language and the emotions that support expressing their best self.

 

You can customize a Pop-Up PlayShops (one-off workshop) spanning from 45 minutes to 1.5hr.

TYPES OF CREATIVE EXPRESSION THEMES:

• Power Poses (I Know Myself, Solo Work)

• Me + You = MU (Mutual Understanding, Partner Work)

• Make MOVES (Prop-Manipulation, Group Work)

• Live Outside the Box (Creative Choreography, Team Work)

PROCESS OF LEARNING:

We feel it's important to have fun and inspire youth to realize everyone is a creator and contributor to the spaces they bring themselves to. 

 

Through our 4-Stages of Learning:
"The 4-P’S: PLAY • PRACTICE • PERFORM • PERSEVERE", we show them the beauty of opening our creativity, working through ideas through repetition & refinement, how to present our concepts to the best of our ability, as well as continuing resilience in the pursuit of our dreams.

This perpetuates confident, curious, creators that are in constant contribution to their own self-esteem, and an inspiration to others they come in contact with in their lives.
